Driver's Education
At BHS, Students take Driver education in 10th grade. To successfully complete the driver education course, a student must pass 30 hours of classroom instruction and 14 hours of driving instruction. Students who are older than 10th grade must get documentation from their assigned counselor before being admitted.
All students must be academically eligible at the time they are assigned to drive. During the school year a student must be passing 3 of 4 classes to be eligible to drive. Driver Education is scheduled for the same period as Health. Kids attend Driver Education class for the 3 weeks of the semester.
