As important as our academic programs are, we recognize that well-rounded students also have opportunities to pursue their interests through clubs, leadership opportunities, volunteerism, theater, and more.  We are pleased to offer a wide variety of clubs and activities to satisfy the interests of our student body.

We are an organization designed to support high-level achievement and success among students of color at Brandywine High School. This includes assisting with challenging curriculum and solid study skills through peer tutoring. Students will learn how to advocate for themselves and each other, while assisting with a positive school culture.

The Blue Review is a student designed and run monthly newsletter. The group strives to emphasize the best parts of Brandywine and bring awareness to all of the events, clubs, sports and amazing teachers the school has to offer. The newsletter is written from the perspective of the students, allowing further insight into their day-to-day life and experiences at BHS.

The DFRC was created to organize future events and distribute the proceeds to Delaware organizations that support people with intellectual disabilities. More than 40 years later, the DFRC is an effective, non-profit organization that has raised millions of dollars to enrich the lives of thousands of children with intellectual disabilities.

Bulldog Bites Club is a cooking/baking club that focuses on plant-based nutrition.

We accept all types of learners.  Bulldog Bites gives students alternatives to the traditional way of eating and provides the wherewithal to begin cooking and baking in a plant-based manner. Whatever your eating style is, Bulldog Bites has something for you! Join Us!

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (F.C.C.L.A.) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Sciences education.

Key Club International, the largest high school service organization in the world, empowers its members to lead and serve by cultivating leadership skills, developing friendships, and performing community service. Key Club members have a passion for helping others and gain leadership skills they will carry with them for a lifetime.

Math contests give students an educationally enriching opportunity to participate in an academically-oriented activity and to gain recognition for mathematical achievement. Our main goal is educational: we promote enjoyment and study of mathematics by organizing contests for grades 4-12. Our contests help to enrich mathematics programs. Each contest covers topics appropriate to the contest grade level. Our well-written questions cover a variety of difficulty ranges and involve topics of interest to above-average students. The key is to encourage students to enjoy a challenge and to learn from it to find problem-solving discussions stimulating. This challenge is what prompts many youngsters to enjoy puzzle books! The enrichment we provide is a positive experience for students.

For more than forty years, this unique program has helped teachers generate excitement in their students. Odyssey of the Mind teaches students how to think in different ways by providing open-ended problems that appeal to a wide range of interests. Students learn how to identify challenges and to think creatively to solve those problems. They are free to express their ideas and suggestions without fear of criticism. The creative problem-solving process rewards thinking beyond the box.

Science Olympiad competitions are like academic track meets, consisting of a series of 23 team events in each division (Division B is middle school; Division C is high school). Each year, a portion of the events are rotated to reflect the ever-changing nature of genetics, earth science, chemistry, anatomy, physics, geology, mechanical engineering and technology. By combining events from all disciplines, Science Olympiad encourages a wide cross-section of students to get involved. Emphasis is placed on active, hands-on group participation. Through Science Olympiad, students, teachers, parents, principals and business leaders bond together and work toward a shared goal.
