Ms. Rebecca Reggio
Principal

It is my pleasure and honor to serve as the Principal of Brandywine High School. I am extremely proud to be a part of the Brandywine family and to have the opportunity to lead a school with such engaging students, an involved and committed staff, and a supportive parent and school community. I will continue to work hard to build upon the excellence of our young scholars and to continue to grow this wonderful school as, “The Place to Be.”

I have been in Delaware public education for the past 28 years.  Originally from Northern New Jersey, I graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education.  I spent 17 years at Newark High School in the classroom teaching all levels of mathematics.  After achieving a master’s degree in curriculum design and evaluation, I was driven to work on a larger scale to improve instruction and engagement. I was hired as an Assistant Principal at Newark High School in 2014 and held that position for 8 years until I became Principal at Brandywine High School in July 2022.

I am driven by my desire to ensure that all students have access to all educational opportunities and are challenged to reach their full potential. I look forward to engaging the staff and the community to work together towards excellence.
